After starting his career with Lloyds Bank plc David joined Procter & Gamble as a member of their sales team, quickly moving on to management with them. He became Sales Director of Kenner Parker and then Tyco/Matchbox becoming Managing Director of the latter, building excellent profitability which culminated with a sale to Mattel, generating excellent shareholder returns. Working with banks and venture capitalists, he has successfully led an MBI and has advised a number of businesses on how to improve performance.
Clients have included Hallmark Cards & Gifts, Simon International, Microsoft and Mcfarlane Toys. His expertise in business turnaround, organisational change and profit improvement has been gained in real line management roles and he now passes on the benefits of this practical experience to clients, tailoring solutions and harnessing the appropriate Tinderbox resources to ensure the job is done to the highest standard.
Trevor Hayes

Trevor is an expert in the design and development of fast moving consumer goods, holding senior management positions around the world for multi national companies. After working for Mattel toys in the USA for 10 years and returning in 2004, he has focused his efforts around the process of getting products planned, designed and executed through the supply chain, from conception through manufacturing.
His global knowledge of businesses procedures and process has given him a unique and expert view of cross functional activities, vital in todays competitive environment.
Dean Stocks
Director Marketing & Communications
After graduating from The London School of Economics in 1983, Dean started his professional career as part of the marketing team at WPP subsidiary Oakley Young Associates, working with major UK clients across a number of sectors. After five years with OYA, Dean, along with two OYA colleagues, formed his own marketing and graphic design consultancy, Stocks Taylor Benson.
STB grew to become a Top 50 consultancy and in 2002 Dean sold his shareholding and left the business to set up Stocks Consulting, an independent marketing communications business, providing bespoke project teams and support for marketing departments across the UK.
Julian Woodall
Director Human Resources
Julian has over 20 years senior HR management experience in retail, manufacturing and financial sectors where most recently he was Head of HR and Leadership Development for a major Retail Bank. Since moving into consultancy in 2002, he has developed strong relationships with significant clients in all sectors, including one of the UKs most respected retailers, a major London University and a famous American Investment Bank. He has worked globally, especially in Eastern and Western Europe, Japan and India.
He has led significant change programmes for highly specialised niche companies as well as major, complex businesses. Julian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Institute as Directors, as well as being qualified in a range of psychometric tools often used in people development activity.
Charlie Neer
Web Strategist
After university Charlie began his career at Verizon Wireless, where he discovered his passion for using the internet as business tool and not a luxury. Following Verizon Wireless Charlie moved on to two successful internet start up companies. The second, Right Media, was acquired by Yahoo in mid 2007.
He has found a niche in being able to work at both large companies and small start ups. He has helped companies of all sizes with monetization, advertiser performance, and overall web strategy. He believes in using the web to scale your business presence and performance regardless of your current size.
